Challenges

The Tisch School of the Arts, a division of NYU, has been an extraordinary training ground for fine artists, performers, and filmmakers for over 45 years. The school came to us in need of a brand strategy and theme for their annual gala. Held in L.A. for the first time in 10 years, the gala would celebrate Tisch’s influence on the West Coast. We needed to clearly distinguish the bi-coastal presence of the school while offering a creative theme that spoke to both audiences.


Strategic Solutions

Our team devised a solution that reflected the location of Tisch’s 2013 Gala in L.A. featuring a neon color palette that encompassed the spirit of each coast with a cohesive brand identity. Highlighting the event’s location on the West Coast while relaying the theme—Scene Change LA—the event invite was designed to emulate a movie poster.
